One of the things that sets us apart from many of the other photographers in the area is our personal service. Our Studio is a low volume photography studio; working to offer a personal touch most photographers just can't compete with. Most high school seniors have concerns about hair, retouching of blemishes and what clothing to wear. We offer unlimited outfits in even our lowest photo shoot and encourage our seniors to meet with the photographer a week or two before the session to review your clothing choices and discuss what is most important to you about your senior portraits. This meeting will only take about 15 minutes, we like to meet you and you us, before the session. We discuss clothing, make-up, and what you can expect during your photo shoot, along with discussing our ordering process. This session is not REQUIRED; however can help us to create a portrait that you will love forever. If this just does not work for you we can talk on the phone and still plan your session out nicely. At Contemporary Photography you're more than a number, We want to take the time to provide you with the BEST PHOTOGRAPHY EVER!

About your Previews and Ordering Process
After your session we will set up a time for you to view your images and place your order. This viewing session is often in the evening so that both parents can attend along with their senior. If you would like to take the previews home to share with family and friends, there is a non-refundable order advance of $150.00 that will be applied to the balance of your order. If you choose to take the previews home to make your selection an ordering appointment will be set up at this time, normally within 7 days. When you place your order, the $150.00 deposit that you paid will be deducted from the total. Also, at this time, at least ½ of the balance will be due to process your Senior Portrait Order. The remainder is due when your order is complete.

From the time you place your order, allow approximately 1-3 weeks for completion. This includes professional retouching on ALL portraits ordered. All Finished portraits created by CPS will be fully retouched, Color balanced and professionally printed on true Kodak photographic paper and produced in a professional photographic lab. We are looking to create a lifelong product and relationship with our clients, only the best products can or will be used.

Previews are the property of Robert Gary Photography. They may be purchased at the time of order with any package over $200.00 for $20.00Each or on a sliding scale depending on your order size. Packages over $500.00 will receive the preview Folio at no additional cost.

Senior Portrait Sessions (Photo Shoot)

The session fee or creation fee is a charge above your photographic package for the time required by the photographer to create your photographic images. This fee also goes to maintain the equipment the photographer uses to capture your images. In most cases the fee is based on the amount of time or effort that will be required to create your perfect image. Sessions in the camera room only are less than location, based on time and travel. Out of town locations like offered in the Ultimate Senior Session give you the freedom to express yourself anyplace in Northern Ohio.

The session fee is collected in advance of the session date at the time the portrait session is booked. It is important to note this is a fee and does not get deducted from the final cost of your order. At Contemporary Studio we want everyone to understand our fees. There are no hidden costs.
A note on Photographic Sessions… We request that at least one parent be present for the high school seniors photographic session. We understand work conflicts; this is in part way our sessions are very flexible and include evening hours, to help accommodate this need. A family member over the age of 18 is fine to accompany the senior. Remember all meetings and sessions are by appointment only; this way we have no interruptions during your session time.

A word about Portrait Sizes.
Please make note of the following conversion list.
1 – 8x10 = (2-5x7's) (4-4x5's) (8 Wallets) (1-5x7 & 2- 4x5's)
Any of the above can be converted into an 8X10 as well.
Many photography Studios are very stick to the package design and layout, we use these packages as a guide to your selection. We have hoped to create a package for every need and budget, however every package can be re-worked to better serve your personal needs.

RETOUCHING:
All finished portraits are professionally retouched. This includes the elimination of facial blemishes, the softening of facial lines, and other minor corrections. Please discuss with us any special concerns that you may have when you place your order. Our Enhanced Retouching is included in our Signature Series Products that include the Enhanced retouching, Chason Print Finish or Canvas Print Finish or Water Color Print Finishes.

PORTRAIT FINISHING:
Portraits 8" x 10" and smaller will be packaged in Our Premier Display Folders. Wallet-sized will be die-cut with rounded corners, and any portraits 11" x 14" or larger will be mounted, ready to frame..
Other finishes available are at an additional fee are as follows:
Chason Finish - Enhanced Retouching and an elegant texture for a rich look and feel
Canvas finish for your wall portraits can also add an artist feel to your portraits.
Kodak's Metallic finish looks great on wallets and even your 8x10

CUSTOM DESIGNING:
Any pose may be printed in Full Color, Black & White, Sepia (brown tones), or our "Spot Color" Design.

NAME & YEAR IMPRINTING:
Your wallet photos can be imprinted with your name and Graduating year in a variety of colors. There is a one-time set-up charge of $10.00 for this service for ALL wallets ordered.

FRAMING:
Framing is Back! We offer a large selection of framing options and the best part is if you have your portrait framed with our studio it is guaranteed for life. If the Frame falls off the wall or print is damaged during a more we will reprint your Image at no cost to you. (offer not on the frame)

PRE-PORTRAIT CONSULTATIONS:
Our PHOTOGRAPHER will consult with you about one week prior to your photo session to get the perfect clothing, props, & anything else that might lend importance and personalization to your portrait. We want to photograph THE REAL YOU, not just cookie cutter production line photographs like some studios. We feel Strongly about that this will ensure that we are all on the same page and produce Images both Student and Mom will really Love. We also understand your busy. This is why we offer you to do this over the phone as well.  We are creating a one of a kind - custom product for you. The more we know the better the job we can do for you.
