Family Portrait Services

Thank you for choosing Robert Gary Photography as your Family Photographer.  We will personally work with you, from even before the session begins to produce the finest quality portraits available.

One of the things that sets Robert Gary Photography apart from many of the other photographers in the area is our personal service. Our Studio is a low volume photography studio; working from our residential office we offer a personal touch most photographers just can’t compete with. Most families have concerns about time, hair, retouching of blemishes and what clothing to wear. We offer multiple outfits in our session if you like and encourage our families to meet with the photographer a week or two before the session to review your clothing choices and discuss what is most important to you about your  portraits.

 If you are not thrilled the 1st time you see your previews, we redo your session for FREE until you are. Robert wants every client to treasure his work for generations to come.

Previews & Ordering

After your session we will set up a time for you to view your images and place your order. This viewing session is in the evening so that both parents can attend if they like.   If you would like to take the previews home to share with family and friends, there is a deposit of $125.00 that will be applied to the balance of your order.  If you choose to take the previews home to make your selection an ordering appointment will be set up at this time, normally within 7 days.  When you place your order, the $125.00 deposit that you paid will be deducted from the total.  Also, at this time, at least ½ of the balance will be due to process your Portrait Order.  The remainder is due when your order is complete.
From the time you place your order, allow approximately 3-4 weeks for completion.  This includes professional retouching on ALL portraits ordered. Previews are the property of Robert Gary Photography.  They may be purchased at the time of order per your package you select or for $12.00 each.

Portrait Sessions

The session fee or creation fee is a charge above your photographic package for the time required by the photographer to create your photographic images. This fee also goes to maintain the equipment the photographer uses to capture your images. In most cases the fee is based on the amount of time or effort that will be required to create your perfect image. Sessions in the camera room only are less than location, based on time and travel. Out of town locations give you the freedom to express yourself anyplace in northern Ohio.
The session fee is collected in advance of the session date at the time the portrait session is booked. It is important to note this is a fee and does not get deducted from the final cost of your order. At Robert Gary Photography we want everyone to understand our fees. There are no hidden costs.
A note on Photographic Sessions… Robert requires that at least one parent be present for the children photographic sessions. We understand work conflicts; many of our sessions are in the evening hours to help accommodate this need. A parent or family member over the age of 21 is required to accompany the children and student teens.

Basic Session $25.00 In-studio only. Allow about 40 minutes for this session. Local Location Session $45.00 Photography created at a park or home near our studio. Allow about 1 hour for this session. Ultimate Location $100.00 This session is for the Families with a location that requires travel. Park, family home, boat and / or any location you like. You have up to 4 hours of the photographers time to show the real you. Additional time can be added for a far away location, just ask!
